Do the items have “CUT TAGS”? Manufacturers tags are the little material tags that are manufactured inside of a shirt, purse or other item. These tags show that the tee is made by Juicy Couture, or the purse is made by Victorias Secret. Scrupulous sellers buy no-name-brand junk and cut off the tags then tell you that its Juicy Couture. They tell you Juicy Couture MADE them cut the tags off so you can’t “return the item to the store”. This is a huge load of crap. First of all, you can’t return anything to Juicy Couture without a receipt. Second of all, designers don’t want counterfeit products made and sold. They want their tags left on. Think about it.
Many wholesalers are required to DRAW A LINE through the manufacturers tag. This means they take a red or black marker and “deface” the tag. Occasionally a company requires the tag to be snipped in half – but both halves are to remain on the item.
